Objective:

Connect to a real e-commerce system and retrieve live product data using DCKAP Integrator.

Part 1: Set Up Your BigCommerce Trial Account

1. Visit https://www.bigcommerce.com/essentials/free-trial/ and sign up for a free 15-day trial — no credit card required.
2. Complete the store setup and log in to your BigCommerce dashboard.
3. Verify that your store has sample products available. If not, add a few manually via Products → Add.

Part 2: Generate Your API Credentials

1. In your BigCommerce dashboard, go to Settings → API → Store-level API Accounts
2. Click Create API Account
3. Enter a name for your token
4. Set the required permissions and click Save
5. Copy the Access Token immediately — it is shown only once and cannot be retrieved again
6. Note your Store Name from the API path:

https://api.bigcommerce.com/stores/\/v3/
